Strasbourg Instagram Diary

Judas Tree

As you see the beautifully blossomed judas trees at the back, there is no doubt that spring has arrived. I love this pink/purple splash in Istanbul these days. Bare legs, more skirts, more tshirts, espadrilles, more sun, more fun... I simply love everything that spring brings! Nowadays, I want to dance and jump all the time, I cannot help myself!  Oh and as a welcome to the season, I'll be spending some days on the Aegean costs  before heading to France. Stay tuned!

İstanbul'un dört bir tarafını mora boyayan Erguvanların açmış olmasından mütevellit, baharın geldiğine artık şüphemiz kalmadı. Ben İstanbul'un bu haline bayılıyorum. Gerçi, çorapsız bacaklar, daha çok etek, daha çok tişört, espadril, daha çok güneş, daha çok eğlence ve baharın beraberinde getirdiği daha nicelerine sevgim sonsuz! Karşı koyulamaz biçimde sürekli bir hoplayıp zıplama ve dansetme arzusu içindeyim. Bu güzel mevsime hoşgeldin demek adına da Fransa'ya gitmeden önce Çeşme'de birkaç gün geçireceğim. Takipte kalın!

Gnomon

These photos were taken a while ago, but I still wanted to post them, before we all start to seek for sunny posts on blogosphere. Spring has arrived to town, at the end:) Here, I layered a very loose shirt and a blazer and put them together with a metal accented belt. I combined them with black jeans and loafers for a work day. 

Btw, I quitted my job, so I'm a free soul for a while:) That also affected my outfits a lot. Now, I walk around as if I jumped out from the 90s. I should share some outfit photos with you soon though;) 

Ohh ohh, and I'm going to France at the end of this month, again. I will visit some cities that I've already been to. However, Strasbourg is one city that I will go for the first time. So any advises are very welcome. Cheers!

Bu fotoğraflar bir süre önce çekilmiş olsa da, blogosfer baharlık postların istilasına uğramadan önce, bunları da paylaşmak istedim. Ne de olsa sonunda şehre bahar geldi;) Bir iş günü için, bol ve uzun tişörtümü, blazer ceketimle giyip, metal detaylı bir kemerle tamamladıktan sonra, bunları için siyah bir jean ve loaferlarla kombinledim. 

Bu arada, bir süreliğine işi bıraktığımı ve özgür bir ruh olarak ortalıklarda dolandığımı da açıklamak isterim:) Yeni durumum, kıyafetlerimi de bir hayli etkiledi. Zira, artık ortalıkta 90lardan fırlamış gibi dolanıyorum. Yeni halimi yansıtan fotoğraflar da paylaşmam lazım tabi:)

Ahh ve de, bu ay sonu yine yeniden Fransa'ya gidiyorum. Çoğunlukla daha önce gittiğim şehirlerde olacağım ama Strasbourg daha önce hiç gitmediğim ve ilk defa bu seyahatimde ziyaret edeceğim bir şehir. Dolasıyla, şehirle ilgili herhangi bir tavsiyeniz beni çok memnun eder. Sevgiler!

Spring Layering

Whatever we wear, some of us definitely gets sick during spring. I layered a really thin shirt, a bomber jacket and a leather jacket, just to be sure that I would not get sick during these days when we do not really know how thick -or thin- we should get dressed. I had this bomber jacket approx. ten years ago from Sisley and I really like how timeless it is. These boots and the leather jacket on the other hand, are  recently my most used/everyday items.

Malum baharda ne giyersek giyelim, hep bir kısmımızı hastalığa kurban veriyoruz. Ne kadar kalın ya da  ince giyinmemiz gerektiğini bilemediğimiz bu günlerde ben incecik bluzumu, biri daha spor, diğeri deri iki ceketle kullanarak, kat kat giyinerek, hastalık riskini en aza indirmeye çalıştım. Bu spor ceketimi ise yaklaşık on yıl önce Sisley'den almıştım ama ne mutlu ki gardrobumdaki zamansız parçalardan biri haline geldi. Diğer taraftan, bu botlarım ve deri ceketim son günlerde en çok kullandığım parçalar.

MBFWI Day 4

I've missed the 3rd day of the Fashion Week, just like the 1st day. But, I caught up with the shows on the 4th day, after work. I've taken photos during the shows, however, you can find way more professional captures around the web from the show of any designer you want, so this time I'm not sharing my blur photos from the runway:) but just the photos of my outfit for the day! I also, did not  shoot my outfit, but thanks to Vogue, my outfit was captured:) 

I'm obsessed with crop-tops since the weather is getting better. If I wasn't working as a lawyer, I would be living in them everyday, but quelle chance! Ohh, and the clutch! It's my new precious baby! And at least ten people asked me about it during the day:)

Fashion Week'in 3. gününde de talihim 1. günden pek farklı değildi, ama 4. gününü, iş çıkışı da olsa, yakalamayı başardım.  Defilelerde bol bol fotoğraf çektim ama internetin dört bir yanında benim titrek fotoğraflarımdan çok daha profesyonellerini bulacağınızı bildiğim için, defile fotoğrafları kısmını atlayarak, yalnızca o günkü kıyafetimi paylaşmakla yetineceğim. Gerçi,  o gün bir fotoğraf çekimi de yapmamıştım ama Vogue sağolsun, bir post çıkarmayı başardım:)

Bu aralar da fotoğraftaki gibi kesik üstlere takmış durumdayım, havanın ısınmaya başlamasından olsa gerek. Avukatlık yapmasam, beni hergün bıkmadan usanmadan kesik üstler giyerken görebilirdiniz ama, quelle chance! Ahh ve portföyüme değinmeden geçemeyeceğim, zira o gün içinde en az 10 kişi portföyümü sordu! Kendisi yeni oyuncağım;)
